I HATE fighting!

SO I had a super crappy weekend. Actually all last week was pretty crappy, and then weekend was just a heaping tablespoon full of poopoo sprinkles to go on top. I stay super busy at work now, what with all the phone calls and stuff that I have to take, and after work I usually like to find something to do with friends. Well, there is a certain friend of mine that I especially love to spend time with is always super busy and I never get to see her. Well, to make a long story short I got mad because I never hear from her, she got mad because I was mad, we had a bit of a fight, and now I feel horrible about it. I HATE fighting with friends, and I certainly had no grounds to get mad in the first place... so now I'm worried about our staying friends. I don't want to lose such a great friend! I lover her and want nothing less than for us to grow apart because of it. Sure I don't get to spend as much time with her as I would like, but I sure don't want to NEVER get to see her at all! Man, it can be hard to maintain improtant relationships.

Show Me The Money!

So I got a raise yesterday at work. It was only a 50 cent raise, which is MUCH less than I was hoping for. When I hired on here I was told that we would renegotiate my contract after a month or so, giving the boss time to make sure that I could do the job that was required of me. Well, after a month I talked to the boss, and he said that he would give me a raise, but to talk to him in about 45 days or so, so perhaps I'll be getting a better raise and maybe even insurance coverage after that point.
Well, aside from work things are going ok. My bike is coming along, getting parts in all the time. I've already purchased everything that I'll need to finish it, and its costing me some 1100 bucks! It sounds like a lot, but I could very easily spend $5000 on a bike without breaking a sweat. High end bikes aren't at all cheap! I could put a cool G just for the wheels!
This week has been a very busy one for us here at the office. I've spent every hour of every work day on the phone with people calling in referrence to our Accutane and Vioxx ads that we are running. We are conducting lawsuits again the manufacturers of these drugs, so I've talked to HUNDREDS of people over the last few weeks, taking down their information, then building and filling in a database with their information. I've stayed super busy... BUT its not a hard job, and it pays OK, bot good, but ok. But maybe that will change in another month or so.

So Stupid!

Yeah, so I'm an idiot. I'm sittin here at work, trying to build a new database for our Vioxx case, so I decide to try to copy the accutane database that i've been using and just rename it and tweak it for the vioxx info. WELL, unbenownced to me, when I deleted the info fields from the vioxx database it also deleted the fields from the ACCUTANE database as well! Man, I deleted info for over 80 clients! Whoops. Guess I'll spend the rest of the day re-entering all that data. Man, I hate myself sometimes...

Down by the River

Yeah, so its been a while since I've posted a new monologue. I've just been so busy with work and redoing an old website and working on my new bike that I've sorta forgotten all about it. Sorry. Me and a bunch of my friends went camping last night down by Wheeler Dam. In case you don't know, Wheeler dam was the first dam built as part of the New Deal era Tennessee Valley Authority as instituted under the presidency of FDR. Anyhow, there is a nice little campsite right new the bottom of the dam where we have started to camp out. Its always a load of fun to go camping, though I usually prefer to camp out in the woods or something secluded.

My job is going good right now, actually rather enjoying it at times. I usually spend most of the day on the phone talking to people about either Irratible Bowel Syndrome or some other drug-induced poopy disease. Pretty gross, but these people are sick because of bad drugs on the market, and we're looking to help them, and ourselves, by making the companies that knowingly produced unsafe drugs compensate for it.

Thats pretty much it for right now. No new developments in the relationship areas as yet... still working hard though. Maybe something will happen soon, I sure hope so at least.
